Kazancompressormash (HMS Group) won the highest award of the Best project or technical solution contest

On August 26, 2024, the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum dedicated to the Year of Scientific and Technological Development in the Republic of Tatarstan started its work in “Kazan Expo” - the International Exhibition Center. R.N. Minnikhanov - Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the solemn opening of the Forum, wishing the participants fruitful work and expressing the hope that “...the Forum will become an excellent platform for the continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation, expansion of business contacts...”.

Within the framework of the Forum among the participants of the International Oil and Gas Chemical Exhibition “TatOilExpo” the contest “The Best Project or Technical Solution” was held, the purpose of which is to promote technical modernization of the enterprises of the oil and gas chemical complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and introduction of modern technologies into production. The competition included eight nominations, with each nomination having the main types of awards: Grand Prix Diploma and Diplomas of I/II/III degree. Kazancompressormash JSC (HMS Group) was awarded the highest rating by the competition committee in the nomination “Best Project/Technical Solution in the Oil and Gas Chemical Industry. International experience” for the development and implementation of the ”Large-capacity LNG compressor units production complex in the city of Zelenodolsk”. As part of the tour of the exhibition exposition, the official delegation presented a concept model of the complex at the stand of HMS Group.

There are no analogs of the complex under construction in the Russian Federation at the moment. The complex is the first in the Russian Federation and the only one in the CIS countries that meets the modern world standards. Implementation of this project will allow Kazanсompressormash to set up production and testing of the key type of process equipment for a large-scale LNG plant - mixed refrigerant compressor units. Mr. Rustam Nurgaliyevich Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan solemnly presented the award to Mr. Ilnur Ildarovich Sagdiyev, Managing Director.

Earlier, in 2021, Kazanсompressormash was awarded the 1st degree diploma in the category “Innovative Environmentally Friendly Technologies” for the creation of the modular compressor unit TAKAT (MKU 1000).
