HMS Group manufactured a compressor unit for a hydrocracking complex

A compressor unit manufactured by Kazanсompressormash (part of HMS Group) was manufactured and shipped to the Customer for a complex of oil refineries and petrochemical plants in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The unit based on the 4GC2-87/155-196 PTU compressor with a 87 m³/min capacity and 19.2 MPa discharge pressure was designed by specialists of NIIturbokompressor (part of HMS Group) to ensure circulation of hydrogen-containing gas in the hydrocracking complex. The compressor is driven by steam turbine.

The compressor unit passed a full cycle of factory tests at the test bench of Kazancompressormash, confirming all the declared operational characteristics. The equipment installation was supervised by Kazancompressormash engineers and representatives of the manufacturer of the drive steam turbine unit. Commissioning of the equipment is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.
